Physical Spanish Phonics is a tried-and-tested multisensory approach to teaching Spanish phonics. It has been developed in conjunction with primary school children and their teachers over the course of several years.
For each phoneme, students learn an action, as well as the graphemes associated with that sound. Cheerful colourful cartoon pictures link the actions to the sounds and help to facilitate learning.
The comprehensive teacherʼs guide provides a clear step-by-step approach to introducing pupils to Spanish phonemes. It contains practical advice, activities and guidance, along with photocopiable games and reference sheets.
Through using Physical Spanish Phonics your pupils will not only learn to pronounce correctly the Spanish vocabulary introduced, they will also gain the skills to tackle any new vocabulary they encounter with confidence.

To download the 6 apps and the interactive whiteboard files from our web server onto a PC, enter the password which you have been given and click ‘Download now!’
Save the file
Either click ‘save’ if you know where your downloaded programs are saved, or click ‘^’ on the right of the save button and ‘save as’. It will be saved to your downloads folder.
Unzip the folder
Click on the folder symbol at the bottom of the screen and navigate to the downloads folder. Right click the zipped folder and left click ‘Extract all’. When asked where you want to save it we suggest your desktop or documents folder – don’t save them in your zipped folder because otherwise the app will not work on a Windows PC.
Open the folder
Navigate to where the folder is saved. Double click to open and then double click on the file ‘index.html’.
You may be asked which internet browser you want to use – we suggest that you choose your usual one. This will open the application. Although you are using a browser, you don’t need to be connected to the internet to run the application – your browser is only opening the files you have just saved to your computer. It is working ‘offline’.
Remember
Right click the zipped folder to extract the files, and save the unzipped files in a different place from the zipped folder (which you can delete if you wish).
The Teacher Book is a pdf. You will need Acrobat Reader or equivalent to read the file. To download the Teacher Book, enter the password which you have been given (it is different for each file) and click ‘Download now!’ Either click ‘save’ if you know where your downloaded programs are saved, or click ‘^’ on the right of the save button and ‘save as’. It will be saved to your downloads folder. If you have Acrobat Reader installed, simply double click the filename to open the file. Otherwise, open the file in the usual way.
