Learn French with Luc et Sophie, Level <\/em>3 provides an ideal introduction to learning French through captivating stories.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Level 3 book, along with its free downloadable resources, provides everything you need to start teaching French confidently and effectively in Year 5. There are 7 carefully crafted stories designed to introduce beginning learners to essential vocabulary and language structures. These can be shared with pupils using audio-enhanced PowerPoints on an interactive whiteboard or printed for individual reading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learn French with Luc et Sophie<\/em> is ideal for non-specialist teachers. Grammar skills are introduced progressively throughout the scheme, with clear explanations provided to support teachers. With all language modelled in high-quality audio files, you won\u2019t need to worry about pronunciation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stories link seamlessly to popular primary school topics, making it easy to integrate the scheme with other French resources. At Level 3, topics include classroom commands, describing oneself, Christmas, toys and games, numbers to 60, the weather and seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The downloaded folder contains audio files of each story and associated vocabulary list read by native French speakers as well as any vocabulary needed for the exercises. Recordings of the songs being sung along with instrumental versions are included. There are also enhanced e-story PowerPoints, interactive white board files, pdfs of the stories and a pdf file of resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can monitor the progress of the download by either looking at the download window in the top right corner of the screen, or if the window isn’t present, by clicking on the icon (square with downward arrow). On some computers this icon\/window will appear in the bottom left hand corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The files will normally be saved in the downloads folder on your computer unless you have altered the settings on your computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unzip the folder. <\/strong>Navigate to the downloads folder on your computer. Right click the zipped folder. The decompressed files will appear in a folder called Luc-et-Sophie-Level-3.zip<\/strong>. You will need an app which plays audio files to open them. You will need PowerPoint for the e-stories and white board files and a pdf reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the story files and resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
